What is Acard?

Acard is a product search and distribution layer for building materials that lives inside AI agents. You ask ChatGPT, Claude or another agent for a material; Acard supplies real products, sourced technical data and sample ordering.

Is it free?

Yes. Searching, comparing and requesting samples is free for architects, designers and contractors. Manufacturers can claim and verify their profiles for free.

Where does the product data come from?

From manufacturers' publicly available websites, datasheets and declarations of performance, or directly from manufacturers who verified their profile. Unverified profiles are marked “unofficial”, and every value links to its original source so you can check it before using it in a specification or tender.

Which agents are supported?

Any client that supports the Model Context Protocol (MCP): ChatGPT (apps / developer mode), Claude (connectors on desktop, web and mobile), Claude Code, Gemini CLI, Cursor and custom agents.

Which manufacturers are included?

More than 200 manufacturers of tiles, surfaces, natural stone, wood and flooring, textiles, wallcoverings, paints, acoustics, insulation, facades, bathroom and lighting – and more every week.

Can manufacturers buy a better ranking?

No. Results are ranked by relevance to the request only. Verified profiles are labelled as such because their data is confirmed by the manufacturer – not because they paid.

I'm a manufacturer – how do I correct or remove data?

Use the manufacturer page or write to manufacturers@acard.ai. We handle every request within two business days, and you can claim your profile for free.
